A Year in the Bible - Volume 2

No matter where you are in your faith journey, you are invited to make this year different from years past. A Year in the Bible | 365 Days of Discovering the Beauty of Jesus from Genesis to Revelation is a four-volume Bible study that will guide you through all of Scripture, exploring God’s unfolding story of redemption—a story that is really about His beautiful Son. From Genesis to Revelation, you will see God’s consistent character on display. Each day throughout the year, you will find helpful commentary, insightful questions, and prayer prompts to help you not only read about God but befriend Him. This year, we challenge you to make studying God’s Word much more than an item to check off your to-do list. Instead, we pray that each time you open Scripture, you would experience God’s presence and grow ever more sure that just as God has pursued His people throughout history. He is pursuing you right now. A Year in the Bible | Volume 2 covers 1 Kings through Psalms. At this point in Scripture, God’s people are slowly heading toward disaster. The Israelites make decisions that only cause them to falter in their faithfulness to God and place themselves on a path that leads them away from the Lord. But God still has His people in His hands. God still has a plan to bring about restoration, and He will fulfill that plan no matter Israel’s actions. In Volume 2 you will discover that God, though His people stray, will bring His people back on His path by His powerful presence. Underneath the readings for each day, you will find at least one of the following threads:

These are themes woven throughout the story of Scripture that we will highlight in each study day in order to show you how God’s character and works are present in every chapter you read.
